Three youth associations from Jajce established the Youth Council of Jajce Municipality on 14 June, 2012. The Youth Club DIJAMANT, Youth Association Vinac and Youth Centre Jajce are the founders of the newly-established council whose primary task will be to represent the interests of youth in policy/strategy making processes including other decisions that are of concern to them. Authorities often criticise the youth NGO sector due to the lack of a youth representative body at the municipal level with which direct communication would be possible as well as addressing youth issues. Following the establishment of the Council as the umbrella youth organisation, this issue will no longer be perceived as an obstacle.
