The NGO sector in BiH will contribute to completing the EU Questionnaire, and the Institute for Youth Development KULT has already expressed interest in taking an active part in answering all questions that concern youth.
Representatives of various NGOs attended a conference dedicated to helping them take on the challenges of answering questions from the EU Questionnaire.
The conference was held on January 25, 2017, and allowed the participants to learn from the experience of representatives from countries in the region that have already completed this process.
“The NGO sector must contribute to this process and this exchange of experiences is mutually beneficial and can make the entire process much easier.” – said Katarina Vučković from the Institute for Youth Development KULT.
Bosnia and Herzegovina received the Questionnaire from the European Commission last year in December. The Questionnaire contains a comprehensive list of questions structured according to the demands for EU membership. The answers to the Questionnaire are intended to offer a comprehensive overview of the political, legal, social, economic and administrative system of the country that submitted a membership application, and help assess its compatibility with the system and values upheld by the EU and EU member states.
The conference was organised by TACSO, with the support of the EU Delegation to BiH, and included a presentation of the work done by the Directorate for European Integration in this area.
