Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands sat down for Coffee Time with youth attending the Training for Youth Work Associates. He talked to these young people about his professional journey from a student to a diplomat.
While talking about his stay in BiH, he pointed out the willingness of citizens of BiH to cooperate and mentioned that there is untapped potential that the citizens, especially young people, need to recognize.
“BiH is in Europe, and youth in BiH have the same dilemmas in life as youth in the Netherlands. I’m proud of young people who launch businesses, and we need to work on encouraging youth to become leaders and entrepreneurs.” – said Ambassador Vos.
The topics included the quality of education in BiH, the importance of civic identity, political situation, reasons why youth leave BiH and programs offered by the Embassy aimed at developing the civil society and youth in BiH.
This training is attended by 16 youth from across BiH, who intend to actively work on improving the prospects of young people in BiH.
