Employment issues were the main topic of the first Regional forum on youth employment, held on June 20 and 21, 2018 in Skopje, as a part of the regional initiative WeB4YES.
Two panels were held during the first day. The first panel presented positive practices in implementing active measures at the local levels, and the role of international and state institutions in addressing this challenge. The second panel was dedicated to creating evidence-based youth employment policies. It included a presentation of drafts of regional reports on improving youth employability in the Western Balkans and Reports on active youth employment measures on the labour market. The second day of the Forum comprised interactive parallel sessions on improving employability and active measures on the labour market.
The host of the Regional forum is a partner organization- National Youth Council of Macedonia. Representatives of the Institute for Youth Development KULT attended the conference as a partner organization in this initiative, along with 5 representatives from the public, private and NGO sectors.
