On 27 March 2015, in the Institute for Youth Development KULT an awarding of the certificates and verifications for participation was held for the first generation of trainees for the Training of Expert Youth Officers, or youth officers .
The expert officers are persons who help the youth in the process of their development. The Institute for Youth Development KULT started the initiative to include the title of the expert youth officer in the list of professions of the BiH Agency for Statistics. The training consisted of 5 modules that were held from September 2014 to March 2015. The training welcomed 25 trainees from 13 youth centres and associations in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Having completed the fifth training module, the trainees wrote a final exam. The exam consisted of questions related to the areas the trainees had the opportunity to pass through the five modules of training: working with youth, organisational skills, social competences, enterpreneurship and writing business plans and communication skills. After writing the final exam, the promotion was organised in which the trainees were awarded with certificates and verifications for participation.
Mr. Beši? greeted those who were present and thanked all the starters for participating and contributing to the Training. “It is a pleasure to see motivated young people who strive to contribute to the development of their orgainsation through their constant work on their self-improvment. I believe that the knowledge and skills you gained during the Training will help you contribute to the position of the youth in your local community and understand their problems and needs better,“ stated Mr. Beši?.
