Coffee with… Ivana Soldo: Putting Love Into Your Work Always Pays Off

Ivana Soldo, a participant in the latest season of MasterChef Croatia, made a strong impression with her cooking skills and her ability to inspire during the Coffee with… event organized by the Institute for Youth Development KULT.

She finished the competition among the top five candidates and showed her impressive culinary skills. Ivana comes from Čitluk, and has a master’s degree in history and pedagogy. She applied to MasterChef to show her cooking skills – something she has been passionate about since childhood.

During the competition, Ivana impressed the judges more than once, especially with the creativity of her dishes. Ivana also showcased her passion for desserts and said that she could imagine herself as a pastry chef in the future. Ivana successfully overcame all the obstacles she encountered during the competition, such as making hollandaise sauce and collard chips.

This event was made even more interesting by the fact that Ivana was talking to Jasmin Bešić, CEO of the Institute for Youth Development KULT. Shared interests, love for cooking, and the drive to succeed made this conversation a very inspiring and useful experience for everyone present.

The audience had a lot of questions for Ivana about her culinary skills and formal and informal education, how her education influenced her, what her experience on MasterChef was like, where she draws her patience from, and what her ambitions are.

“Putting love into what you do always pays off. It is important to keep trying, not to give up if it doesn’t work right away and to work with love, to really connect with what you are doing and not just do it for the sake of getting it done”, said Ivana.

Ivana Soldo is an inspiration to her peers, and shows them how passion and dedication can lead to great results.

A recording of the entire event is uploaded to the Facebook page of the Institute for Youth Development KULT.

We would like to thank Ivana for talking to us, and sharing her energy and motivation!
