Become Involved in Velika Kladuša

The first regional UMiD (Learn, Think, Act) online conference will be held on 3 July at Velika Kladuša Town Hall and it will be organised by the Democratic Youth Organisation of Velika Kladuša with the support of the Institute for Youth Development KULT. The organisers expect around a hundred youth who will be introduced with the UMiD online training at the conference.

Jasmina Keserovi? from the Democratic Youth Organisation of Velika Kladuša states that everything is ready for the first regional UMiD online conference. “We are pleased that the first regional coference is taking place in our town precisely and that youth of Velika Kladuša will be introduced with a training that will certainly help them as an addition to their formal education. We already have around 60 attendees and we invite all youth to join in and become a part of this regional conference” – emphasized Jasmina Keserovi? from the Democratic Youth Organisation of Velika Kladuša.

This conference is a part of the UMiD online project implemented by the Institute for Youth Development KULT. In the previous period UMiD online centres were opened in four towns in Bosnia and Herzegovina in which youth that have no such opportunity will be attending the training. “UMiD training has been conducted for 11 times in a classroom version. Due to the great interest of youth, we decided to make it available in an online version. In addition to Velika Kladuša, the training will be presented to youth at regional conferences in Sarajevo, Jablanica and Srebrenica. The training will be performed by at least 400 youth who will participate in UMiD online conferences” – emphaiszed Mirela Ajanovi? from the Institute for Youth Development KULT. She added that all youth who successfully complete the training will be awarded with a certificate. More importantly, she claims, they will acquire practical knowledge and skills to use in the business world in the future.

The initiative is supported by UNDEF.
