On the 15th session of Committee on Finance and Budget of the Parliamentary Assembly’s House of People of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PSBiH), held on February 23, 2016, the Proposal of Law on Amendments of the Law on Salaries and Contributions of Institutions in BiH, proposed by the Parliamentary Assembly’s HoR, was supported. There were no amendments to the Proposal of Law.
The proposed amendment of the Law stipulates the Article 48 of the Law on Salaries and Contributions of Institutions in BiH to be deleted. In the Article 48 of the Law it was prescribed that “the elected functionaries and office holders are entitled to a compensation for extension of their labor law status until they acquire a labor law status with another subject or fulfill the retirement criteria and no longer than one year after the day their function ends”, and that “the compensation includes the basic net wage with addition to working experience and taxes and contributions in accordance with the procedures that regulate the area”.
The Report on Conducted Audit of Efficiency on subject: ”Personal Identification Documents Procurement – Case Study” was adopted with recommendations. Also, the conclusion that will be forwarded to the Parliamentary Assembly’s House of People and that demands the Council of Ministers of BiH and the Agency for Identification Documents Registers and Data Exchange of BiH (IDDEEA) to, in no later than 6 months, report to the Committee on Finance and Budget on the planned and conducted activities on realization of recommendations stated in the Report and to introduce the Auditing Office of the Institutions in BiH on the conducted activities.
