Web4Jobs is a one-stop-shop platform offering Western Balkans youth updated information about employment opportunities, informal and formal education opportunities, career guidance and self-employment, i.e. launching a business. The platform is intended to help young people prepare for entering the job market, support young people networking across the Western Balkans and promote work and education mobility. The platform was launched by the WeB4YES – Western Balkan Civil Society Organisations for Youth Employment Support is a regional initiative aimed at strengthening inter-sectoral cooperation aimed at supporting young unemployed citizens in the Western Balkans and come up with innovative solutions to employability and employment issues. The goal of the initiative is to empower civil society organizations to contribute to addressing unemployment and improving the conditions for youth entrepreneurship through advocating and monitoring at the state and regional level.
The project coordinator is the Belgrade Open School (Serbia), and partners on the project, in addition to the Institute, are the Association for Democratic Prosperity – ZID (Monte Negro), NGO Lens (Kosovo), Association Beyond Barriers (Albania), National Youth Council of Macedonia and International Olof Palme Center (Sweden).
The Initiative WeB4YES is supported by the European Commission, as a part of the Civil Society Facility and Media Program 2016-2017, Support to regional thematic networks of CSOs.
