USC Develops Youth Strategy

During a session held on 5 March 2018, the Assembly of the Una-Sana Canton adopted the Proposal Youth Strategy 2018-2022.

This documents outlines a systemic approach to youth and focuses o their needs in seven key areas: education, employment, healthcare, leisure time, safety, mobility and social protection.

The adoption of the Youth Strategy is the beginning of a systematic approach to regulating areas important to youth. The Strategy, along with action plans, will allow youth to access their rights through improved institutional mechanisms. Once the Strategy is adopted, all ministries in the Una-Sana Canton will develop action plans.

The Institute for Youth Development KULT offered expert advisory support in the process of developing the Youth Strategy of the Una-Sana Canton.
