The 22nd session of Committee on Economic and Developmental Policy, Finances and Budget of the Parliamentary Assembly’s House of People of FBiH was held on Wednesday, June 22, 2016.
The Proposal of Law on Conversion of Credit with Currency Clause in Swiss francs to BAM Law on conversion of loans with a currency clause in CHF (Swiss Francs) to BAM was unanimously adopted. The report on activities of the Banking Agency of FBiH was also supported. The report states that there was an increase in citizens’ savings in 2015 in BiH.
The report on the activities of the Federal Employment Agency was also adopted. Through the projects of the USAID, GIZ and the YEP project, 9,000 persons were employed. It was emphasized that it is difficult for foreigners to obtain working permits and that we have the lowest percentage of issued working permits for foreigners in the region. 15% of the newly employed were employed through the program of first employment. The Institute stated that most funds are directed towards employment in the private sector.
The report on the activities of the Securities Commission of FBiH was not supported, while the Agenda and the Financial Plan of the Committee for 2016 were supported.
