The Enterprise Europe Network held a presentation in Sarajevo, on 10 May 2018, focused on the importance of innovation for small and medium-sized enterprises.
The Enterprise Europe Network – EEN is the largest enterprise network in the world that provides support to SMEs. The EEN is a key instrument of the European strategy for stimulating economic growth and creating jobs.
Services offered by the EEN network include expanding to international markets (e.g. establishing business connections with partners abroad), business counseling and support, support to innovation and transfer of technology (e.g. managing innovation, funding innovation, research and development. Professor Maja Arslanagić, PhD talked about the steps and opportunities for creating supply/demand (business, technologu, research and development) by using the EEN platform, in order to expand to new markets.
The presentation included options for SMEs to participate in Horizon 2020.
The presentation was attended by a representative of the Institute for Youth Development KULT.
