Today, the Educational-Leisure Centre for Youth SPAJALICA welcomed twenty students of the grade III4 from the Fourth Gymnasium. The aim of the visit was peer education through interactive methods. Today’s topic that was presented to the youth in SPAJALICA with the help of peer educators was sexual and reproductive health of the youth and the knowledge of contraceptive methods that are essential for a healthy lifestyle and youth development, the Info Point project coordinator Sunita Koristovi? emphasized.
Today’s interactive workshop included four stations that the participants visited sporadically. Since they are students of a III grade in a Gymnasium, four areas were discussed. A particular emphasis was placed on discussing STDs and HIV and risky behavior. Through an interactive discussion, the students were able to ask questions based on which the peer eductors could determin precisely the type of information the youth lacks and the possible gaps in their basic knowledge.
