During a visit of the representatives of the Institute for Youth Development KULT to the flood-affected town of Maglaj, children from the Gra?i? and Bili? families were given school supplies.
In the upcoming period we will try to fulfill the humble wishes of the four children of two Maglaj families. The Institute will provide the children with quality winter shoes. The funds for buying the necessary items come from good people who responded to the Institute’s initiative, as part of the “We must not stop!” campaign! which is still actively involved in rebuilding the family homes destroyed by the floods, emphasized the Institute’s work team.
The focus is on helping individual families, and one of the firs was the Bili? family, whose home was completely destroyed by the floods. They are currently living in a makeshift shelter, with only a plastic cover overhead protecting them from rain and snow.
They spend the nights in a derelict room or which they have to pay rent. Since their old house was completely destroyed by the floods, they are forced to build a new one on the land they bought before the floods with their meager savings.
Kind people donated construction material for completing one floor of their house. The Institute for Youth Development KULT and potential donors will try to give the Bili? family a roof over their head. Doing so would save the Bili? family, one of the many families in Maglaj who lost all material and technical means for providing for themselves in this BiH town with very long and cold winters.
