Jasmin Beši?, executive director of the Institute for Youth Development KULT, held a meeting with the Chairman of Velika Kladuša Municipality Edin Behri?. The meeting was attended by Mrs Jasmina Keserovi?, the representative of the Democratic Youth Organisation Velika Kladuša.
Beši? presented the track record of the Institute for Youth Development KULT and pointed to the previous support to the youth sector of Velika Kladuša. “So far, the Institute, amongst other, has participated in developing the draft of the Youth Law of FBiH and the Law on Volunteering of FBiH. We would be pleased to continue the good practice of supporting the authorities”, emphasized Beši?. He added that the Institute will be at disposal of the Municipality and provide all the necessary aid in conducting legislative solutions in the municipality. The Chairman of Velika Kladuša Municipality pointed out that the cooperation with the municipal youth is good, but also emphasized that it could be better. This year, as he says, assets were allocated for the projects of youth councils. “We have to work on developing the youth conscience. Instead of a short-term aid, we have to equip them for a more successful future”, stated Mr. Edin Behri?. The attendees agreed that the Youth Law may and has to be implemented in order to improve the youth position in the municipality.
