The Second Module of Youth Officers Training is in course. The topics of the second module revolve around writing a quality public call for youth projects at municipal and cantonal level and in accordance with the Youth Law and advocating for youth issues at municipal and cantonal level.
The Youth Officer training is an opportunity to exchange previous experiences and acquire additional knowledge about the implementation of the Youth Law in local communities.
“The training is very pragmatic, but also extremely useful for my everyday work” – stated the Youth Officer of Breza Municipality.
The training is being attended by 22 participants in 17 communities of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The training program is held in collaboration with the Olof Palme Center and in partnership with the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports that devised the policy for conducting the training. Three more modules are planned to be held.
The training of Youth Officers aims to equip the attendants to individually perform the duties of Youth Officers by acquiring certificates for their knowledge in youth policy and youth work and for the state officials who work or plan to work as Youth Officers to become professionally equipped in youth work with expert competencies and certificates necessary for working on that position in a civil service body.
