How to Approach and Teach Adolescents?

Working with students in classrooms was one of the topics discussed during the first module of the “Learn, Think and Act! for adults”, held October 19-22 in Sarajevo.

“This is so refreshing compared to my previous work experience. A lot of useful information on how to teach, how to approach adolescents and other age groups, how to teach classes, tolerance, compromise – these are all topics we are learning about, that will help me become a better teacher.” – said Nina Neimarlija, an English teacher. 

“U?i, misli i djeluj! za odrasle” is a training intended for adults who work directly with youth and children in formal education. This training is intended to support the teaching staff in high schools and help them build competencies they need to successfully plan and implement the learning process based on experiential learning, using efficient and relevant teaching methods and strategies and creating a safe and stimulating environment where participants will feel supported and motivated, and creating a safe and stimulating environment where students will feel supported, motivated and encouraged to engage in lifelong learning.

UMID T2

The Institute, together with its partners, is organizing, three-module training, with each module taking three days. With this training, the Institute is trying to support persons working with youth and improve their skills and knowledge they need for developing youth work and youth in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In addition to the trainings, the participants will also do practical work in their communities. 

UMID T4

The participants come from 14 local communities from different parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina who work directly with adolescents in formal education. 

The trainers are Radmila Rangelov-Jusovi? and Nedim Krajišnik from the Center for Educational Initiatives Step by step.
