Five local units of self-government have issued public calls for funding the best business plans of young people: Municipality Stari Grad Sarajevo, Municipality Jajce, Municipality Teslić, Municipality Novi Travnik and Municipality Centar Sarajevo.
The Public calls are funded through the Entrepreneurial Fund for Youth with contains funds provided by local units of self-government and the Institute for Youth Development KULT, with the support of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Sweden in BiH. The Fund is intended to support the development of entrepreneurship and youth employment in 8 municipalities and cities.
The total value of the Entrepreneurial Fund for Youth is approximately 400,000 BAM, and it is expected to support between 50 and 100 youth-owned businesses. Public calls in Cazin, Trebinje and Modriča will be issued in the near future.
The Institute, in cooperation with the participating municipalities and cities, will hold workshops for all young people interested in applying. Information about the public calls and workshops are available on the websites of the municipalities and cities, and the Institute’s social network accounts.
