Protect the environment for future generations! – is the motto of our new ECOGENERATION. The little ones from our School of Friendship spent July 8-10 in the Educational-Leisure Centre for Youth SPAJALICA, learning about ecology. 20 participants took part in the three-day training course, focusing on important topics such as environment preservation, recycling and healthy food. During the first day of the training, participants learned about protecting the environment and repurposing of organic and inorganic matter. The training session teemed with constructive solutions and direct involvement in environmental protection and creative disposal of waste.
During the first day of the training course we talked about the environment and waste disposal, while the second day’s discussion was focused on healthy food. The participants, surrounded by fast food, which they often eat, were taught how to plant beans, easily and with their own hands, and thus improve their nutrition. By doing so, they have developed a certain level of responsibility regarding plant preservation, food, etc. They learned how to grow a plant themselves, thus contributing to producing and using healthy food.
Activities during the third day were focused on photosynthesis and water filtering and demonstrating how these natural processes occur. This training course was aimed at raising consciousness among our children about protecting the environment, developing a sense of responsibility for their surroundings, learning about the processes in nature, preventing pollution, all in order to ensure that future generations may live in a healthy environment. Acta, non verba! Which is exactly what happened; see for yourselves. 🙂
Greetings from your ECOGENERATION.
