Director of Committee on Finance and Budget of Parliamentary Assembly’s House of Peoples Visiting Institute

Mrs Ljilja Zovko, the director of Committee on Finance and Budget of Parliamentary Assembly’s House of Peoples of BiH visited the Institute for Youth Development KULT on 29 April 2015. 

Mrs Zovko was introduced with the work of the Institute through concrete initiatives for solving the worst problem of youth – unemployment, then through youth political participation as well as other initiatives for improving the position of youth in general through strategic solutions and cooperation with the authorities at all levels. During the working visit, the possibilities for creating new jobs were discussed and Mrs Zovko presented her ideas related to this issue and emphasized the awareness on the significance of youth for BiH, and especially the relevance of supproting young women as a threatened category of the society.

Adopting strategic decisions and youth legislative that is currently lacking were also mentioned for the purpose of providing equal opportunities for all youth in BiH through legislative and making youth policy more concrete at a national level.

We are pleased that Mrs Zovko recognized the youth issues as key for the future of BiH and we hope to collaborate efficiently in the future as well.
