High School Students Become Employees on Social Day

We celebrated Social Day today!

Social Day is an opportunity for students to spend a day in a workplace, experience the working environment, connect with potential future employers, and learn more about the professions they are interested in pursuing.

The Institute’s staff had the pleasure of hosting three young people today: Adna Bećirević and Hanadi Parla from Prva bošnjačka gimnazija (First Bosniak High School), and Adin Vrević from Peta gimnazija (Fifth High School) in Dobrinja. The high school students joined our staff at the Youth Policy Development Department, Youth Work Department and the Public Relations Department.

Hanadi was very interested in the activities that the Institute carries out as part of our regular celebrations of Orange Day. She is very knowledgeable on the topic and shared some very helpful and motivating ideas and information with our staff.

“I spent my Social Day together with two other students at the Institute for Youth Development KULT. The Institute’s team was very kind and approachable and did their best to tell us what they did and share their ideas with us. Everyone was really friendly and gave us some great advice. I would advise all young people to always be open to new experiences and opportunities. Learn the skills you want, explore your interests, and do what makes you happy!” said Adna.

“It is an honor and a pleasure to be an employee of the Institute for a day. Their professional and kind employees taught me a lot of things that will be useful in my future career. I like the relaxed atmosphere that makes teamwork easy. I am glad to have met wonderful, successful, and friendly people who are so willing to share their knowledge and are good at it. The day I spent at the Institute for Youth Development KULT will definitely be a fond memory, and everything I learned will be useful for my future,” said Adin.

The Institute is always pleased to welcome young people eager to gain knowledge and experience in our offices. Year after year, we strive to share advice and inspire young people to contribute to their communities and improve the society we live in. Together, we can create a better future for all. Change starts with each of us.

The Social Day is implemented in cooperation with the Association of Secondary School Students in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

We want to thank our school students for their visit today!
