Four Youth Organizations Awarded 44,300 BAM by City of Tuzla

Yesterday, four youth organizations signed contracts with the City of Tuzla worth a total of 44,377.50 BAM.

Activities that will be funded include strengthening youth participation in decision-making, educating young women and men through IT projects, promoting gender equality both in and outside of the theater, and establishing the first film studio for youth in Tuzla and the region. These four organizations were selected from the 10 applications received in response to the public call issued by the City of Tuzla.

On April 25, 2022, the CEO of the Institute for Youth Development, KULT Jasmin Bešić, and Tuzla Mayor Jasmin Imamović signed a partnership agreement pledging 60,000 BAM in funding for organizations in Tuzla.

These activities are part of the Capacity Building Works initiative supported by the Government of Switzerland and implemented by the Institute for Youth Development KULT.

Through this initiative, the Institute works on improving the organizational capacities and performance of grantee organizations by conducting analyses and creating development plans and strategies.
