Turkey Organisations Interested in Youth Work in BiH

Youth work in Bosnia and Herzegovina is interesting to organizations in Turkey as well. Members of the organization KEGED from Malatya (Turkey) visited the Institute and talked to its representatives about their experience with youth work.

The Turkish delegation comprised the President of the Urban Development Association, a representative of the Ministry of Youth and Sports in Turkey, representatives of the organization Urban Development Association Antalya and Urban Development Association Konya. The discussion was focused on the programs the Institute implements for youth workers, and the training and certification process for youth workers.

Our guests were particularly interested in the Institute’s cooperation with government institutions on creating youth policies, and wanted to learn about the position of youth in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Institute presented the process of researching the position and needs of youth, which is used in developing strategic documents for improving the position of youth.

The Institute for Youth Development KULT is always happy to share its experience in youth work with organizations that have similar missions, and we believe that this visit will prove useful to organizations in Turkey working on improving youth work and creating youth policies.
