Princeton Students Visit Institute

How can youth unemployment be solved, why are they leaving the country, and how can it be stopped? These are the questions that students from the US university Princeton asked the Institute for Youth Development KULT’s employees.

They were also interested in the education system in our county, the Youth Law and its implementation, and strategic documents that can offer solutions for the many challenges that youth are facing.

“Youth emigration, education, and lack of jobs are interconnected topics, that must be addressed in conjunction with each other, if we want to achieve results” – said Ajka Rovčanin, from the Institute for Youth Development KULT.

One of the topics were two schools under one roof, and there was also word of many other inadequacies of the education system, such as the lack of practical classes.

During their stay in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Princeton students talked to youth and representatives of other relevant institution. They are visiting our country to conduct research on the position of the population of BiH, especially youth.
