WHO? 1-year training program for youth leaders UMiD (Learn, Think and Act!) is being realized by the Institute for Youth Development KULT.
WHAT? UMiD Training provides you and your friends to become active in your local community and resolve youth issues.
HOW? During the training, 8 two-day workshops and a summer school will be held in which you will learn a lot about the following topics:
- Civil activism and volunteering,
- Democratic principles and the European Union,
- Human Rights,
- Writing projects,
- Teamwork and leadership,
- Fundraising,
- Public advocacy,
- Peaceful resolving of conflicts,
- Cooperation with the economic sector.
When your group writes a project that can be used to resolve a problem in the local community, we will support its realization! Besides, through the workshop on cooperation with the economic sector you will find out how to convince the employer that you are an ideal candidate for employment! With all the above mentioned, you will meet new friends, acquire new knowledge and experiences and travel!
All the attendants will sign a contract on attending the training. All attendants will receive a certificate after the training and the Institute will follow your development in activism after the training is completed. In addition to all this, you will introduce yourself with the former UMiD training participants.
WHEN? The workshops will be held once a month, beginning in the end of May, on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Summer school will be organized during the summer.
WHERE? Our meetings will be organized at the Educational-Leisure Center for Youth SPAJALICA in IlidĹľa.
EXPENSES? Travel, food and accommodation costs are nothing to worry about! They are covered by the organizer.
APPLICATION! If you are interested in the training, are between 18 and 30 years old, live in BiH and would like to participate in workshops and be a part of the generation 10, you have to form a group together with a friend from your municipality/city with a cool name and send us your video or image via an electronic application form on the following website: https://mladi.org/url/umid10.
In addition to everything, you have to send us a letter of support from the local organization of which you are a member.
