Initiative Group Alpbach in Sarajevo (IGAS) is opening a call for volunteers anent the European Youth Summit: 100 for the Next 100 in the Danube region from June 4 – 8 2014 in Sarajevo.
The Summit will gather 100 youth leaders form the Danube region and Southeastern Europe, who will have a chance to discuss current topics with each other and with reputable European and regional politicians, and with professors and civil society representatives.
All English-speaking adults (18+) with an address in Sarajevo who want to meet youth from the region and Europe and are ready to share their knowledge, experiences and positive energy in the Summit can apply.
All volunteers will have access to plenary sessions, as well as a rich cultural programme. The volunteers shall also receive a certificate on volunteering and special contribution to European Youth Summit implementation at the completion of the programme.

IGAS is a member of the Forum Alpbach Network (FAN) which gathers about 30 organisations from all over Europe. These organisations promote European Forum Alpbach and provide additional student scholarships for participation in this prestigious European interdisciplinary conference.
Along with IGAS, European Youth Summit organisers are the regional FAN members; Club Alpbach Croatia, Club Alpbach Serbia Belgrade and Montenegro’s Initiative Group Alpbach Podgorica, all gathered around the same idea – contributing regional development and promoting youth position. Project partners are European Forum Alpbach, Danube Competence Centre and University of Sarajevo.
