“Europe, Now!” Campaign in Sarajevo Concluded

The Institute for Youth Development KULT, in cooperation with the Centre for Civil Initiatives (CCI) has implemented the “No Excuses – Europe, Now! campaign in Sarajevo. The goal of the campaign is to rally citizens’ support for the process of accelerating the integration of BiH in the EU. By signing the petition, the citizens support the demand aimed at government representatives, asking for an unconditional acceleration of the integration process.

“The campaign touches upon meeting the requirements stated in the Stabilisation and Association Agreement, acquiring the status of EU candidate country, transparency in negotiations and separating technical from political and other issues which are not directly related to EU accession. The campaign was intiated on March 27, 2014, and concluded in a formal ceremony today, on May 12, 2014”, stated Nejra Neimarlija, the project coordinator.”

In closing remarks, project coordinator Nejra Neimarlija from the Institute of Youth Development KULT stated that the Institute is pleased with the citizens’ response to the campaign. By the end of May, the campaign will have been implemented in other larger cities in BiH.
