3rd Working Meeting of BRANA Network

The 3rd working meeting of BRANA Network was held yesterday in Zenica. The field work of the Network was discussed at the meeting, i.e. the work of the local partner organisations conducting reviews of donations during their field visits to reconstructed areas after the terrible last year’s floods that struck our country. The meeting was attended by Selma Suljevi?, represenatative of the Institute for Youth Development KULT.

BRANA  Network aims to use its project activities for contributing to the transparency of the process of recovery for the areas devastated by floods and thus to the transparency and responsibility in work of public BiH institutions and the private sector and donors. The fulfilment of the stated goal will be achieved through monitoring and information-gathering activities, input analysis and presenting results and facilitating public dialogue.

A working plan was made at the meeting for the following period which will involve new field visits, series of public discussions, round tables, as well as the continuation of media campaigns. “BRANA” Network, consisting of 22 organisations, has welcomed a new member – Union for Sustainable Return and Integration in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The meeting was organised by representatives of Centres of Civil Initiatives (CCI) with the support of the USAID.
