Youth Leaders and Young Bankers

Representatives of the Institute for Youth Development visited the central offices of Pro Credit Bank d.d. Sarajevo. During the visit we discussed a possible future cooperation. As part of the initiative Recognising UMiD as training for active youth participation, we have planned to offer youth the possibility of tapping into the potential of the economic sector in BiH; therefore, our wish to cooperate with Pro Credit is less than surprising. For the past two years they have actively been working on implementing the Young Bankers program which enables youth to acquire skills necessary for working in a bank. An additional benefit of this program are the given employment opportunities. An identical program is being implemented in other countries where Pro Credit is present, as a way of employing new staff without using conventional methods such as job ads.
