World Youth Policies

Did you know?

99 countries in the world have a youth policy, 56 countries are revising theirs, while 43 countries have no youth policy at all.

Kyrgyzstan has a Law on Youth Policy, but it does not have any representative body in form of a national youth council, while the South African Youth Council participates in government forums such as State Economic Development and the Youth Council (NEDLAC).

In 2008, Algeria gave 20.27% of its public funds on education, while Germany gave 10.37% of theirs. For Algeria this amounts equals 4.34% of GDP, while for Germany their amount equals 4.57% of their GDP.
