On Monday, 24 December 2012, the Youth Policy Development Working Groups undertook a one-day training, which will significantly facilitate their efforts to draft this document, delivered at the premises of Isto?na IlidĹľa Municipality. The training was attended by the representatives of municipal authorities, public institutions and the Youth Council of Isto?na IlidĹľa Municipality. Therefore, the first step towards creating the document, which aims to offer solutions to some of the problems that young people from Isti?na IlidĹľa Municipality are facing, has been made. This document will also respond to their needs.
It is important to stress that all of the elements and recommendations of the Youth Policy document are based on the documents that are binding for BiH:
– The European Charter on the Participation of Young People in Local and Regional Life;
– The White Paper of the European Commission;
– 11 youth policy indicators of the Council of Europe and the European Youth Forum;
– Law on Youth Organising of Republika Srpska, etc.
The training was delivered by the Institute for Youth Development KULT and it was funded by Isto?na IlidĹľa Municipality.
