With Youth towards a Better Tomorrow for Youth

67.1 % of youth in FBiH are unemployed.

50% of youth never travelled abroad.

27% of youth believe that the current state will never change.

4 of 5 young people would instantly leave Bosnia and Herzegovina. 

 “With Youth towards a Better Tomorrow for Youth” is the title of a short film made by the Institute for Youth Development KULT to indicate to the difficult position of youth in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, but also to point to its solutions. Solutions that are not unreachable and will include the first strategic youth document being developed in the Federation of BiH – the Federal Youth Strategy.  

Adopting Youth Strategy at all levels of the Federation is conditioned by the Youth Law of FBiH that was initiated by the Institute for Youth Development KULT and adopted in June 2010. The Government of FBiH is currently in the process of developing the first strategic youth document in the entity. The process of developing the Youth Strategy is being coordinated by the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports and the Institute for Youth Development KULT was appointed to provide expert and advisory support in the process through a decision made by the Government. 

The document should be developed by the end of the current and enacted in the beginning of the following year.
