At the end of last week, the representatives of UN WOMEN – a fund for gender equality from New York and Bratislava – visited the offices of translators of KOĹ NICA Project – strengthening youth female leaders in youth organisations, Institute KULT and BH Expert, both located in Sarajevo.
During the visit from the representatives of the fund for gender equality, financed by KOĹ NICA project, meetings were held with project teams from two organisations in BiH and with different target groups and project participants discussing their activities. A complete insight in the influence of the project on the local community was provided through a meeting with the representatives of Isto?na IlidĹľa Municipality as one of the 12 partnership municipalities. The results of the project were provided by the representatives of the Youth Council of Vlasenica that introduced them with their activities and concrete produce they made so far. The significance and influence of the project on the target group of projects was presented by the members of KOĹ NICA from IlidĹľa Municipality and the Educational-leisure Centre for Youth SPAJALICA. The meeting with the trainers of two training modules, presented a clear image to the UN guests of the manner of implementing the project and project activities, observed from different perspectives.
The two-day visitation programme resulted in a success on pleasure of all, both the implementers of the project of the Institute KULT and BH Expert and the donors of UN WOMEN. With plans for future activities and support to the project and potential cooperation in similar projects, we saw our always welcome visitors from UN WOMEN office in New York.
