Successful Local Civil Initiative Animates Youth in Zenica and Abroad

A year ago, when the local civil initiative was launched by an informal group of young people from Zenica, UMiD Generation 9 students, we could not imagine the success and sustainability of the initiative. A group of UMiD students had decided to found REaktiv youth association, in the lack of an authentic youth organization that will not merely point out youth problems, but contribute youth improvement through different educations. So far they have completed various initiatives and have included youth from Zenica, Žep?e, Visoko, Kakanj, Breza. They are one of the initiators for the founding of Zenica Youth Council. They have also participated in a global cork-collecting project, in which corks are traded for wheel chairs, etc. Another success is holding a strategic planning for next year in SPAJALICA, in December 2013.
