Public Call for Selecting Federal Ministry of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts Grantees to Be Issued Soon

Representatives of the Institute for Youth Development KULT held a meeting with Mr. Amir Zuki?, the Minister of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts at the FBiH Government and with Mr. Zdravko ?erovi?, the Deputy Minister.

The topic of the meeting was to improve the project criteria for youth, women and newly founded businesses under the Public Call for Selecting Grantees for Awarding Current Funds of the Federal Ministry of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts that the Ministry has been issuing regularly on an annual basis and allocating significant funds to aid and support the economy.

The Public Call for 2016 is expected to be issued soon and the Institute for Youth Development KULT will provide the Ministry with technical, advisory and coordination support in the process of informing youth, women and entrepreneurs with newly formed businesses primarily on the procedures of applying for the Call.

Representatives of the Institute introduced the Minister with the initiative to change the Law on Value Added Tax in BiH. As they emphasized, the advocacy for changes in the Law is performed as a part of the all-inclusive “BH Business Site” initiative directed towards improving the business environment for youth and all the other entrepreneurs and owners of small and medium firms.

The topic of the conversation was also the deadline for implementing the Provision on Employment and Self-Employment Incentives of the Government of FBiH, in which the Ministry was included as a relevant actor. The Institute for Youth Development KULT vehemently supported this provision, in order to make it as valuable for youth and entrepreneurs as possible.

The Institute for Youth Development KULT also opened the dialogue on the issues of creating and enacting the Law on Employment Incentives in FBiH that would create long-term preconditions for increasing youth employment.
