Youth often involve in risky sexual behaviour, without being aware or knowing that through such behaviour they might get infected with an STD. Aware of this fact, peer educators decided to hold several peer trainings on sexual and reproductive health for high school students of IlidĹľa Municipality. Information on sexual and reproductive health are crucial for youth. In order to behave responsibly, youth have to be provided with accurate information, rather than believe in myths and different desinformation.
First-grade students of High School of Graphic Technology, Design and Multimedia had the opportunity today to listen to a presentation, discuss, ask peer educators various questions on topics of anatomy female and male reproductive systems, types of contraception, STDs and HIV. In the course of a lesson, youth helped youth in a fun and simultaneously educational manner, to understand why it is important to take their health and the health of those they love seriously.
In the following week as well, diligent peer educators have workshops with high-school students from IlidĹľa in which they will discuss the importance of sexual and reproductive health education and forms of risky behaviour.
