KULT Representatives Participate in Developing Methodology on Preventing Gender-Based Violence

Discussing the suggestion of manual for peer education on preventing gender-based violence was the topic of the second session of the working group working on developing of this methodology. The meeting was held on Friday, 21 October at UN. The working group that consists of UN, OSCE, GIZ and KULT representatives focused on the comments regarding the suggestion of manual for developing a methodology that will affect youth conscience on gender-based violence as well as strengthen them in recognising and acting on the subject. The manual includes the fields of gender, differences between gender and sex, discrimination, prejudice and gender-based violence. 

The attendees of KOĹ NICA project – Strengthening Youth Female Leaders in Youth Organisations participated at the meeting, as active future implementors of peer education on the topic of gender-based violence. 

Reviewing the final version of the manual, besides developing a peer education agenda, will be a reason for the working group to meet again next month.
