During the Open Door Day of the SHL HOUSE, the Institute for Youth Development KULT received a commendation for an excellent long-term cooperation with the SHL and for, among other things, using the training house of the SchĂĽler Helfen Leben Foundation.
The SHL HOUSE training centre was built by German high school students aiming to offer a neutral place for education to BiH youth regardless of their ethnic, religious, gender or any other affiliation. Since 1999, when it was officially opened, until today, the SHL HOUSE has become, for the SHL Foundation, the central place for gathering youth from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina, and a “second home” for many of our activists. The Institute for Youth Development KULT has been using this house to accommodate the participants of Expert Associates for Youth Work training who claim to be very pleased with the accommodations in the SHL training house, as well as with the staff and possibilities of spending time in the house.
On behalf of the Institute for Youth Development KULT, the commendation of the SHL Foundation was accepted by Katarina Vu?kovi?. She says that representatives of the Institute are very pleased with the current cooperation with the Foundation. “The cooperation between our organisation and the SHL Foundation is long-term and the content of the last group that spent their time at the training house merely reflect how good it is to establish partnerships and provide an opportunity for youth to introduce themselves in this manner with the work of other organisations” – added Katarina Vu?kovi? from the Institute for Youth Development KULT.
