IGAS Scholarships for Seminar Week

The European Forum Alpbach 2013 will be held in the Austrian village of Alpbach. The topic of the forum is Experience and Values.

As in previous years, the Initiative Group Alpbach in Sarajevo, in cooperation with its partners, is awarding 3 (three) scholarships to BiH students for attending the Seminar Week at the European Forum Alpbach 2013.

The Student Parliament has provided two scholarships for the students of the University of Sarajevo. All students enrolled in this university are eligible to apply for these scholarships, the condition being that they have paid the Student Parliament membership fee.

 

Students from any part of BiH can apply for the scholarship provided by the Austrian Embassy in BiH.

The condition for applying for any type of scholarship is that the applicant was earlier not awarded with a scholarship by the European Forum Alpbach and/or the Initiative Group Alpbach Sarajevo.

The list of documents the applicant has to provide is as follows:

CV in English, not longer than two A4 pages

Motivation Letter, not longer than one A4 page, in English, where the applicant explains their motivation, with a short overview at the program of the European Forum Alpbach 2013

Proof of current enrollment status (confirmation of year of study or copy of degree – scanned)

Other proofs of academic success (scanned)

The Commission for the scholarships will consist of IGAS members. The scholarship covers the participation fee and accommodation with breakfast. Travel costs are not included in the scholarship.

The application deadline in Thursday, 6 June 2013. The application has to be sent by email to info@igas.ba.

The winners will be informed by Friday, 14 June 2013 via email.

Incomplete and untimely applications will not be considered.
