In the course of conducting activities with the Youth Officers from the Federation of BiH, the Institute for Youth Development KULT became aware of the need for designing a pattern for keeping the list of youth associations, which is provided by the Youth Law of the Federation of BiH (Article 15, “The competent municipal office shall independently keep a list of youth associations…”, “Youth associations that wish to propose youth projects at any government level or be a member of the municipal youth council shall be entered in the list”).
The Institute has developed, in accordance with the Youth Law of the Federation of BiH, the Ordinance and the Guidelines for the Ordinance on keeping the list of youth associations at the local level in the Federation of BiH that are intended for the local authorities which are required to keep and maintain a list of youth associations themselves, in accordance with the Youth Law of the Federation of BiH.
The Ordinance and the Guidelines provide information on how to keep the list of youth associations, as well as who can submit a request for admission into the list, methodology for keeping and maintaining the list, including the sheet forms which are required for keeping the list.
We believe that we have significantly contributed to the enforcement of the Youth Law of the Federation of BiH by means of developing the Ordinance and the Guidelines for its implementation, and that Youth Officers and youth associations will consequently take advantage of the benefits stipulated under this respective Law.
