Floods – Call for donations

To contribute to purchasing equipment for volunteers who are being sent to the flood-affected areas as well as to rebuilding the damaged or destroyed homes of the afflicted families, you can donate in one of the following ways:

The Institute will use the donated funds for the following:

– transportation of volunteers to the flood-affected areas across Bosnia and Herzegovina

– all the equipment volunteers need for cleaning and rebuilding, which will prevent injuries and infections (shovels, boots, gloves, masks, disinfectants…)

– food and water for volunteers

– basic materials for rebuilding family homes (floors, wall paint, front doors, etc.)

– basic furniture (e.g. sleeper chairs) and appliances (e.g. refrigerator, stove)

Each donor will receive a Letter of Appreciation stating the purpose and the amount of their donation. Upon request, each donor will be sent scanned copies of invoices, photographs and receipts as proof that the funds were used transparently.

Bank accounts for donations will be subject to an annual external audit and the corresponding reports will be published on the Institute’s website.
