First UMiD – Learn, Think and Act! Training Module Held for Generation 10

The First Training Module of UMiD – Learn, Think and Act! for Generation 10 was held at the Educational-Leisure Center for Youth in IlidĹľa from June 2 to June 4, 2016. 

The topic of the training was volunteering and civil activism and, as emphasized by the participants, the training is very useful because they are learining about activities and laws they have not encountered before and have never paid attention to as activists and volunteers in organizations. At the same time, as they emphasized, through working on activism they were additionally inspired to involve themselves and invite others to activism. 

24 attendants from both entities are participating in the training.

UMiD – Learn, Think and Act! is a 1-year training program for youth leaders and their active involvement in the social community and the business world. 

Among other things, the training offers the attendants an opportunity to acquire confidence, reflect on their abilities and potentials and develop a sense of social responsibility and acquire managment and business skills. This training is recognized by the Ministry of Education of Sarajevo Canton and by numerous municipalities in BiH.
