Do you know the percent of youth voters in the 2012 Elections?

Upon observing young people’s movement and their democratic involvement through the initiative Youth decide on democracy!, the Institute for Youth Development KULT sent an official letter to the BiH Central Election Commission (CEC) asking for information on the turnout of young people at the polls and their involvement in the entire electoral process in the last Local Elections which took place on 7 October, 2012. According to the obtained information a conclusion has been reached that more than 50% of young people voted, or more precisely: 334 215 young persons gained the right to vote, which accounts for 54.6% of the total turnout of young voters in the Elections (612 527). All persons between 18 (legal age) and 30 years of age, which represents the upper age limit for youth under the Youth Law of FBiH, were taken into consideration. The names of 8192 young persons appeared on the list of the candidates running in the Elections.
