Discussing Youth-Friendly Business Environment

A representative of the Institute for Youth Development KULT presented the draft of the regional report on environment favorable to youth entrepreneurship, on the first day of the Regional Forum on Youth Entrepreneurship held in Drač, on November 20 and 21, 2018.

The event included an interactive workshop on the topic, aiming to facilitate a constructive dialogue with the participants, to elaborate on current recommendations and provide new ones to be included in the regional report.

A representative of the Belgrade Open School presented a draft of the regional report on entrepreneurial learning, which was followed by a discussion designed to yield recommendations to be included in the regional report on entrepreneurial learning.

The Regional Forum on Youth Entrepreneurship is being held as a part of the regional project WeB4YES – Western Balkans Civil Society Organizations for Youth Employment. The host of this forum was the Association Beyond Barriers from Tirana. The forum was attended by a representative of the Institute for Youth Development KULT as a partner organization in this initiative, and 4 representatives of the state team from the public, private and NGO sector.

The second day of the forum is dedicated to the results of research conducted and recommendations for policies on developing entrepreneurial education in the EU. Presentation will include examples of good practice of innovative young entrepreneurs from the Western Balkan. The Regional Forum is attended by over 70 participants from the public, private and NGO sector from the Western Balkan.
