The fifth labor market Career StartUp with the slogan Discover Your Path was held on 21 April and organised by the Centre for Career Development by the students of School of Economics and Business of Sarajevo.
The Institute KULT supported the Career StartUp project this year as well and provided an opportunity to students at the event along with twenty other companies to introduce themselves in a simple manner with the companies that offer employment, ensure summer practice for graduating students, but also with the significance of volunteer work. Students had the opportunity to talk to the representatives of companies and non-governmantal organisations on various topics of youth interest, job vacancies, working conditions, educations, non-governmental sector, advantages and disadvantages of volunteering and other necessary information.
As a part of the event, several workshops were held, and awards were presented for the best business plans of students from different faculties.
We believe that mutual benefit was achieved through this event – as for the students who were introduced to employers and for the companies and non-governmental organisations that had the opportunity to present themselves and acquire expert staff.
