Building the capacities of youth structures is the main goal of the newly founded Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth of Tuzla Canton.
During the meeting between Minister Slavena Vojinovi? and the Executive Director of the Institute for Youth Development KULT it was noted that the primary goal for this year is improving the position of youth in Tuzla Canton.
The Ministry intends to support the founding of youth councils in this Canton and work on building the capacities of youth organisations.
“Although the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth was formed in the beginning of this year, we have a clear vision of the direction we want to take.” – said Minister Vojinovi?.
As the Ministry previously announced, they will work on informing youth, and providing them with informal education and empowering.
“The Institute for Youth Development KULT” will provide the Ministry with support in all processes aimed at strengthening youth structures and improving the position of youth, because we consider government representatives as partners that can help us make great strides.” – said Jasmin Beši?, Executive Director of the Institute for Youth Development KULT”.
This Ministry was formed to improve and support culture, sports and youth position in the Tuzla Canton.
The Institute for Youth Development KULT advocated for the initiative to provide youth with a separate Ministry that would approach their needs and concerns strategically.
The newly founded Ministry was previously part of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, and was separated so as to focus more on strategic action in the youth field and develop the areas that are crucial for young people’s progress and development.
