Commission for Youth Issues of Parliamentary Assembly’s HoR of FBiH for Adopting Federal Youth Strategy Promptly

Representatives of the Institute for Youth Development KULT attended a session of the Commission for Youth Issues of the Parliamentary Assembly’s HoR held on May 16, 2016 in Sarajevo.

The Commission was presented with the initiatives being realized by the Institute and the previous cooperation with the former assemblies of the Commission.

As emphasized by representatives of the Institute, the cooperation with the current assembly of the Commission is particularly necessary in the areas of implementing the Youth Law. The Law on Volunteering was also discussed, as well as the requirement for both laws to be prepared for all governmental levels. It was concluded that a stronger cooperation is necessary in the process of developing and adopting the Federal Youth Strategy as well.

The session of the Commission on Youth Issues of the Parliamentary Assembly’s HoR was also attended by representatives of the Youth Council of FBiH that strived to include themselves in the activities of the Commission and presented their plans.

As concluded, the Commission will invest new efforts in adopting the Federal Youth Strategy and consider other options for cooperation.
