Coffee Time with OSCE at SPAJALICA

The guest of the regular session of “Coffee Time with…” that will be held on Wednesday, 4 November at the Educational-Leisure Centre for Youth SPAJALICA will be Mr. Adnan Kadribaši? from the OSCE.

What is discrimination?

How present is it in our country?

How can we prevent it?

The Institute for Youth Development KULT, with the support of the OSCE Mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina, began implementing the initiative aiming to promote the Law on Prohibition of Discrimination in BiH, during which it will empower youth leaders to promote implementation of Law on Prohibition of Discrimination in BiH as a legal tool and mechanism for building positive social attitudes towards the underrepresented groups.

Even though the Law on Prohibition of Discrimination in BiH was put to force in 2009, it was never properly promoted. Namely, the results of research conducted by civil society organisations in 2012 demonstrated that only 36% of citizens in BiH are even aware of its existence. Moreover, 86% of citizens believe that discrimination is one of the main issues, but are not sure what it actually represents.

Precisely this will be the topic discussed in tommorow’s session of “Coffee Time with…” that will start at 4.30 PM. You are all welcome!
