The Institute for Youth Development KULT, which is the member of the “BRANA” Network, is inviting you to a public discussion on topic “Sanation and Renovation of Flooded Areas in the Municipality of Kakanj”.
The public discussion will be held on THURSDAY, 24 December 2015, 12.00 PM at the hall of Municipality of Kakanj (new building).
The role of civil society in the sanation of the consequences of 2014 floods, the recent activities and problems, the perception of citizens regarding the results that incurred after the floods, and a plan for the future period in the area of the Municipality of Kakanj will be discussed at the meeting. It was provided that a representative of the Civil Protection Service of the Municipality of Kakanj participates in the discussion, along with a representative of the MZ Svrake Council, a representative of the civil society organisations, the citizens of the Municipality of Kakanj, and other actors who directly participated in providing aid during the May 2014 floods.
The BRANA Network aims to use its project activities to contribute to the transparency of the recovery process in the flood-devastated areas, and thereby to strengthen the total transparency and reliability in work of public institutions in BiH and the private sector and donors. Accomplishing the stated goal will be achieved through the activities of monitoring and gathering information, input analysis and presenting the results, as well as facilitating public dialogue.
