As a part of KOĹ NICA (BEEHIVE) – strengthening youth female leaders in youth organisations, a study visit was provided for the 18 of the most active and most diligent trainees. They are travelling to Germany because it is the country in which gender equality presents an integrated part of implementing youth policies at all governmental levels. They will spend five days at the German city of Köln, from 6 to 10 September 2011. The study visit programme was devised so that the participants would attend certain trainings, topic-focused workshops and field trips to locations of significance for thier work and women’s rights. The study visit will enable them to use the knowledge and skills adopted through good examples and practices to contribute to gender equality in Bosnia and Herzegovina, especially in the process of forming gender equality network. The girls will be accomodated at the Köln-Riehl youth hostel, located in the beautiful area near the River Rhein.
